Give One, Take One

In 2024, we launched the Whitsunday Thrift Club with a simple vision: to create a space for Whitsunday locals to buy and sell quality preloved and vintage clothing.

 

While our vision remains the same, it is rapidly evolving beyond just a preloved market. In 2025, we will place a strong emphasis on community and fashion sustainability.

 

We are excited to announce the launch of our new initiative: the "Give One, Take One" table.

This clothing swap will be open to both shoppers and sellers. Participants are encouraged to bring up to three items of clothing to swap or donate, allowing them to update their wardrobes at no cost!

 

This initiative will help promote circular fashion and keep unloved clothing out of landfills. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that quality clothing remains at the end of each event so we can donate it to the Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre. This amazing community organisation is crucial to the Whitsunday region and we are excited to support them in any way we can.

 

We cannot wait to share this fun and interactive addition to our markets with the Whitsunday community in 2025!
